Facebook Marketing

Facebook Marketing - Make Money leveraging facebook

I've been having an outstanding amount of success using Facebook marketing techniques.  All of the Facebook marketing techniques I've been using I have developed myself and have had a high success rate.  I'll be coming out with a free Facebook ebook soon.  Whether you're trying to sell a book you've authored, software you've developed, or just looking for traffic to one of your new sites/blogs.  You can market almost anything on Facebook.

Before I get into some of the techniques I'm going to give you one warning about affiliate links.  Facebook does NOT like them, plain and simple.  If you have a Facebook profile that you are planning on using longterm then just don't do it.  Especially in market place listings.  In my experience they will either take the link down or delete your marketplace listing.  They don't even like you linking to 1 or 2 article sites that function as a hub to get consumers to click on an affiliate link.  So stay away from that.  With that said here are some ways you can market within facebook.

First step: Add as many targeted friends as you can.  Facebook does have a limit to the amount of friends you can add within a 24 hour period.  I don't know what the exact limit, but after you add 20+ people they give you a warning before they block you from adding anymore.  Aim to add 20 people a day for each profile you have.  Much like Myspace marketing, in Facebook marketing you will have a profile for each niche.  So if you have two things you are trying to market (ie: a blog about internet marketing, and an article submitter script) you will need a profile for each one.

You are simply going to find a group that relates to the niche you are in.  You can do this by using the search function (in the groups tab).  Once you find a group, join it and announce yourself and your website.  You are going to add as many friends as you can from this group.  You'll want to add 20 friends each day for a certain amount of time.  So if you know you are going to launch a new blog in 30 days, you'll be able to make friends on Facebook ahead of time.

At the end of the 30 days you should have 500-600 friends on Facebook.  These are highly targeted people.  Again, I cannot stress to you just how strict Facebook has become.  Do not attempt to spam Facebook.  It will get your account deleted in a heartbeat.  Facebook is for legitimate marketing only.  Don't even try to gain affiliate sales, like I mentioned before.  These tactics I'll be discussing on this site should only be used for a product or site YOU own.

I'll be posting the next article soon.  I'll probably post 3 or 4 more until I'm finished with my free Facebook ebook.  Facebook marketing is the way of the future.  If you have not experienced Facebook yet, then please create an account now.  Follow the previous steps and by the time I post the next article you should have a good amount of knowledge.  Facebook marketing is very easy to do.
